Last hostages are freed as Serb shelling kills seven
Article Abstract:
The Bosnian Serbs are continuing to hold Sarajevo, despite continuing attacks from Bosnian government forces. Most recently, they killed seven Sarajevans who were queueing for water, and have obtained the release of four of their soldiers held prisoner by the United Nations. The fighting seems to have died down slightly over recent days, but there has been no response to international calls for a renewal of the peace process.

Deep frozen out and still beyond the Pale
Article Abstract:
Continued international insistence that Bosnia-Hersegovina remains as a single republic will make it impossible for a solution to be found, according to Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic. He is prepared to agree to confederal links with Bosnia, but only on condition that his so-called 'Republic Srpska' is allowed to be independent. Contact with the Bosnian government have so far proved inconclusive.

Sarajevo Serbs pack for final exodus
Article Abstract:
Many residents of Sarajevo are very concerned about the future as preparations are made for the Bosnian government assuming control on Mar 21, 1996. Serbs are already planning to leave, feeling that even Nato's peace Implementation Force (I-For) will not be able to give them sufficient protection. However, they are also unwilling to give up accommodation to which they will be unlikely to return.
