Shoe designer Manolo Blahnik has always been very careful to avoid anything ugly. He is extremely fastidious about his own clothes and personal hygiene, and greatly admires people who have clean, tidy feet. His shoes are in great demand among celebrities, even though they are sometimes rather difficult to walk in. He has become particularly well known for delicate shoes in materials such as silk and suede.
