Will the real Winnie Mandela please stand down
Article Abstract:
Winnie Mandela's image is becoming increasingly negative in South Africa. Indeed, it is now clear that figures in Nelson Mandela's government regard her as scheming and self-interested. She is being openly criticized at a time when she has been keen to portray a very positive image, particularly to her supporters abroad. Evidence has now come to light that she was having an affair after Nelson Mandela was released from jail. She kept this a secret because she did not wish to damage her political career.

Even Lomu can't beat Mandela
Article Abstract:
The South African rugby team certainly deserved to win the Rugby World Cup, as it showed great power and commitment. Its inspiration was not simply the desire to win the championship, but to live up to the example set by president Nelson Mandela. He never lost faith during his 27 years in jail that he would one day be released, and this extreme level of commitment was emulated by the rugby team.
