The UK government's plans for reform of the House of Lords are discussed. In its current form, the House of Lords is more unpredictable and less political than the House of Commons. It is therefore possibly more human.

Why alcohol is wasted on the young

Issues concerning alcohol consumption among teenagers are discussed. It is argued that alcohol prevents teenagers acquiring knowledge at the time in their life when they are most able to do so.
