BR offers vouchers in exchange for delays
Article Abstract:
British Rail Passenger's Charter compensates travellers in vouchers where trains are delayed for over one hour. Targets are for 90% of trains to arrive within 10 minutes of scheduled time for Intercity trains, but lower for Network Southeast. Metropolitan services are not included. Passengers are not impressed as they would rather have clean, uncrowded trains and courteous, informative staff than refunds.
