Sit down, this may come as a shock
Article Abstract:
There is very strong interest among collectors in furniture designed by Charles and Ray Eames. Indeed, rare prototypes can sell for up to 7,500 pounds sterling at auctions in the US. However, prices for most items remain relatively modest, and it is worth investing now, before prices begin to rise. It is worth consulting standard textbooks to ensure that you are purchasing genuine early designs. Dedicated collectors also check the manufacturer of each item, and pieces without a manufacturer's label are less highly prized.

Triumph of British classics
Article Abstract:
There has been strong demand for vintage British motorbikes, especially from British collectors, who have benefited from the strength of the pound. Experts believe that the market is being mainly fuelled by nostalgia, with particular demand for motorbikes from the 1960s and early 1970s. Most British collectors actually ride their motorbikes, and this is even more common in Scandinavia. However, Japanese collectors tend to simply keep their motorbikes for display purposes.
