Bringing up quins can be very expensive, according to Lesley Needham, whose quins are now nine years old. She is fully occupied with looking after the family every day, and often finds life very tiring. Her relationship with her husband has been through difficult times, especially as she feels that he does not help much with the housework. However, they are united by their pride in their children.

However, it can be very rewarding when the children begin to respond, becoming happier and more relaxed. It is particularly rewarding to see a child return to his or her own home and to know that the situation there will have greatly improved.
