The growing pains of Piers

Article Abstract:

The Mirror Editor Piers Morgan does not resent the fact that he sometimes attracts criticism. Indeed, he regards even criticism as valuable publicity for the newspaper. He believes that the increase in the Mirror's readership can be partly attributed to investment by Mirror Group in additional journalists and partly to the fact that the Sun has lost its sense of direction and its confidence. He also feels that social attitudes have shifted back in his newspaper's direction.
