Where the action never stops

Article Abstract:

It is widely acknowledged that the best resort in Europe for glacier skiing is Zermatt, Switzerland. This resort's tourist office organizes ski-test weekends and a ski-test week in the skiing pre-season. The Theodul glacier has 21 km of pistes, and has longer runs than nearby Saas-Fee's glacier. The skiing day is short, with the lifts closing at 3pm. The weather can be unpredictable, with the glacier sometimes being shrouded in cloud cover.
