The most challenging part of any acting is finding the truth in the material and establishing why you say certain things, according to actress Brenda Blethyn. This was the case with the film 'Girls' Night,' in which she plays a middle-aged woman who becomes overwhelmed by illness. She stars in this film with Julie Walters, who feels that she knows Blethyn well, even though they have not actually worked together before. They have great admiration for each other, and found working together very rewarding.

Television broadcasters, especially the BBC, show many repeats, especially during the summer. They try to disguise this by advertising these programmes as 'classic' or as 'another chance to see.' The latest trend is compilation 'specials,' which show re-edited 'highlights' from old programmes. There is nothing really wrong with showing repeats, as they are clearly popular, but broadcasters should invest more in new programmes too, rather than relying on past successes.
