Green policies: insurers warm to climate change
Article Abstract:
The insurance industry has been campaigning against activities that produce global warming. Global warming may be one reason why insurers have had large losses since the 1980s. Higher property values and the insurance of homes in areas vulnerable to storms have also contributed to the losses.
