Age-related differences in ambulatory blood pressure during daily stress: Evidence for greater blood pressure reactivity with age
Article Abstract:
Ambulatory blood pressure (ABP) is a predictor of adverse cardiovascular outcomes and so it is very important to understand the links between age and blood pressure during daily life. After daily examination of middle-aged to older adults of ABP, it was concluded that relatively old individuals showed a significant increase in ABP compared to younger individuals when dealing with daily stressors.

Aging and cardiovascular reactivity to stress: Longitudinal evidence for changes in stress reactivity
Article Abstract:
A study to determine whether older adults show greater or lesser reactivity over time to psychological stress is presented. Findings revealed that older adults were more likely to show an age-related increase in systolic blood pressure (SBP) and respiratory sinus arrhythmia (RSA) reactivity to acute stress.

Task control and cognitive abilities of self and spouse in collaboration in middle-aged and older couples
Article Abstract:
The hypothesis that compared to younger couples, older couples are more likely to use their knowledge of each other's cognitive abilities to collaborate on tasks is tested. Findings reveal that there are no age differences in couple expertise.
