Combination therapy for early Alzheimer's disease: what are we waiting for?
Article Abstract:
Increased research is needed to confirm the efficacy of newly developed therapies for early-stage Alzheimer's disease. These therapies include antioxidants, anti-inflammatory and vasoactive agents, ginkgo biloba and cholinesterase inhibitors. Reliable research models have already been used successfully in studies on hypertension and cancer.

Efficacy, safety, and tolerability of sertraline in patients with late-life depression and comorbid medical illness
Article Abstract:
The efficacy, safety and tolerability of sertraline in the treatment of elderly depressed patients with and without comorbid medical illness is reported. Sertraline was found safe and tolerable and efficacious in reducing depressive symptomatology, regardless of the presence of comorbid medical illness.
