Depressive symptoms as arisk factor for disabling back pain in community-dwelling older persons
Article Abstract:
Prospective cohort study is conducted to determine the presence of depressive symptoms in an independent risk factor for disabling back pain. Results indicate that the presence of depressive symptoms is a strong and highly prevalent risk factor for the occurrence of disabling back pain in community-dwelling persons.
