A study determining the criterion validity of the 400-m walk component of the Long Distance Corridor Walk (LDCW) and thereby developing equations for estimating peak oxygen consumption (VO2) and systolic blood pressure in older people, is presented.

The influence of anxiety on the progression of disability
Article Abstract:
A study on the effects of anxiety on the work functioning and progression of disability in elderly persons is presented. It is observed that anxiety does worsen the disabilities to function.
