Ethnicity and cognitive performance mong older African Americans, Japanese Americans, and Caucasians: the role of education
Article Abstract:
Research indicates that disparities in the Cognitive Abilities Screening Instrument between races may be attributable to differential education level and quality. Testing was performed on African Americans, Japanese Americans, and Caucasian Americans 65 years of age and older. African Americans scored lower than either Japanese Americans or Caucasian Americans, but factoring in educational levels decreased this gap.
