Improving quality in end-of-life care: dying at home
Article Abstract:
While most terminal patients express a desire to die at home, it is not feasible for every patient's wishes to be met. Studies need to include data on the type of care needed by terminal patients and whether there are caregivers who are willing and able to provide necessary home care.

Further studies are need into the effectiveness of advanced care planning for terminal patients. Studies are need to study compliance with advance directives and the ways to improve the quality of life in end-of-life care.
