Medical comorbidity and rehabilitation efficiency in geriatric inpatients
Article Abstract:
Medical comorbidity was found to be a significant indicator of rehabilitation efficiency for geriatric inpatients, with higher comorbidity rates predictive of less than optimum rehabilitation outcomes. Medical comorbidity was indicative of both the rate rehabilitation gains were achieved and the overall functional abilities that were attained.
