Physicians "missing in action": family perspectives on physician and staffing problems in end-of-life care in the nursing home
Article Abstract:
The roles of physicians and staff in end-of-life care nursing homes are explored through the eyes of the kith and kin of a deceased person. It is reported that "missing in action" physicians and shortage of staff results in negligence of the dying patients.
