Scaling ADLs within the MDS
Article Abstract:
Methods for determining an aged person's dependency in activities of daily living or ADLs is presented, based on the data listed in the Minimum Data Set. Revised scales are detailed that can be used by medical professionals to classify the dependency status of elderly persons in nursing homes.
