The Montreal cognitive assessment, MoCA: a brief screening tool for mild cognitive impairment
Article Abstract:
Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) is a method that can help the physicians assess the cognitive abilities of a person in a span of about 10 minutes. In the event, the physicians find mild cognitive impairment, they can take necessary measures to correct the situation. It may be noted that some studies have indicated that MCI could lead to dementia though it is a controversial matter.

Association between visual attention and mobility in older adults
Article Abstract:
The association between visual attention/processing speed and mobility in older adults is examined. Results reveal that visual attention impairments/slowed visual processing speed in older adults is independently associated with mobility problems.

The study conducted to determine whether baseline self-related health (SRH) independently predicted survival in an older Canadian population is reported. The role of cognition on the SRH-mortality relationship is investigated.
