Bootlegging and path dependancy
Article Abstract:
Strategy setting is a function of management to direct the organization towards more favorable environments. The importance of path dependency in the strategy setting and accumulation of firm specific technological competencies is studied. A study of bootlegging by the research and development team of an organization in which they ignore the management's strategies of project management is also presented.
