Who wants mediation?
Article Abstract:
Civil disputes in the United Kingdom could be resolved by means other than litigation, with mediation particularly recommended by Lord Woolf in his report as a proposed means of reforming the civil legal system. Mediation is highly successful as the disputing parties meet to discuss the problem and are allowed to examine different ways of solving the dispute without having to resort to litigation. Some are reluctant to go to mediation as they are unwilling to solve the dispute outside of litigation or may be concerned about showing their weaknesses to the other party.

Cultural origins of New Age cults
Article Abstract:
New Age cults predominantly have a Western culture origin and have drastically increased in number and influence since the 1970s. New Age cults indicate a crisis with regards to cultural identity in Western civilization at the end of the 20th century. Such cults also eradicate the foundations of social institutions. These result in the undermining of business, legal and political ethics, the importance of science and cause the public educational institutions to be remiss in their duty of forming informed and independent minds.
