Defining culturally relevant indicators: what are we waiting for?

Article Abstract:

The use of Thematic Apperception Test (APT) in determining the potential impact of community development projects on tribal groups is a robust approach in evaluating ethnicity, gender and age variations at the local government level. Nazarea's work on culturally relevant indicators primarily seeks to create an approximation of macroindicators and not to generate endogenously valid concepts. The work also provides an interesting introduction to local frameworks of cognition and decision making.
