Managing water resources in Latin America
Article Abstract:
Management of water resources in Latin America lacks the dynamism needed for maximizing the application of scientific principles. Moreover, management of water resources in the region has aggravated instead of neutralizing the negative effects of external factors such as price control, exchange rate and other macroeconomic factors. Water quality managers are in need of training to be able to handle the challenge of maintaining water control systems.
