Job satisfaction and organizational continuance commitment: a two-wave panel study
Article Abstract:
A study was made on the temporal relationship between job satisfaction and organizational continuance commitment over 13 months using LISREL program for linear structural relationship analysis with latent variables. The longitudinal findings indicated a positive correlation between job satisfaction and organizational continuance commitment when both variables were measured at the same point in time and when they were examined about 13 months apart. However, LISREL analyses showed that neither cross-lagged path coefficient was significantly positive.

The role of perceived system knowledge in predicting appraisal reactions, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment
Article Abstract:
Perceived system knowledge (PSK) is a performance appraisal variable that creates a strong impact on employee affective reactions. Employees who have enough comprehension of their organizations' PSK are found to have higher organizational commitment and job satisfaction. They are also more receptive to appraisal feedback and system as compared to those employees that have inadequate knowledge on PSK.
