Labor migration and redistribution with alternative assimilation policies: the small economy case
Article Abstract:
The social and political assimilation of immigrants conditions redistribution in a small economy that is integrating labor migration in the market. One assimilation policy result is that only full-fledged citizens gain from redistribution and allowed to be a political participant, while citizenship for a migrant takes time. An alternative view is the immediate awarding of citizenship to migrants.

Taoism in Christian perspective
Article Abstract:
The authorship of the book 'Tao Te Ching' raises a dilemma on whether or not the book was written solely for a religious purpose or as a philosophical literature with emphasis on social and political disinvolvement. A cursory examination of Lao Tzu's work would reveal the similarities between Christian and Taoism, particularly in issues such as love, humility, peace and non-aggression.
