Wrong is beautiful!
Article Abstract:
The importance of the forecasting process lies not only in correctly determining the course of future events. While an accurate prediction can be most satisfying to the originator of a forecast, the process plays a more important role in creating a society that is capable of endless innovation and change. This function of foresight, which will result in the forecast being wrong because of the corrective action taken by society, is more important than being proven correct.
