Technology and finance: the electronic markets
Article Abstract:
There is no way to determine the impact of technological change in the financial sector on society as a whole but there is no doubt that there will be a significant impact. The financial sector of various economies have been rapidly evolving and studies on impact of technology influx are yet few. There is speculation however, that the capacity of society to absorb technological change may act as a braking mechanism on the amount of change permitted to occur.
