Effects of language and meaningfulness on the use of extreme response style by Spanish-English bilinguals
Article Abstract:
A study conducted on 58 Spanish-English bilinguals who completed two gender role attitudes scales namely the Attitudes Toward Women Scale (AWS) and Historic-Sociocultural Premises Scale (HSCP), is presented. The results revealed that both language and meaningfulness affect response style.

A comparative investigation of the semantic structure of language
Article Abstract:
This article provides a comparative study of 20 languages, ancient and modern, and literate and non-literate. The authors, placing a random selection of words into 34 semantic categories, found that the words used most often referred to some form of activity.
