Article Abstract:
Postcolonial became the sign of recognition for the inequalities that beset new nationhood after the end of colonialism, when post-independence leadership reneged on the hopes that had subsidized anti-colonial struggles, in an era of uneven industrialization and globalization. A discussion on the various forms taken by postcolonial cultures reveals the idea refracts cultural change through the lens of displacement.
