SIECUS looks at states' sexuality laws and the sexual rights of their citizens
Article Abstract:
A survey of US state laws on various sexuality-related topics is presented. The state laws regulate sexuality education, contraceptive services, abortion services, HIV/AIDS infection, sexual orientation, sexual behaviors and sexual exploitation. The survey finds the District of Columbia and 28 other states support sexual rights and sexual health. However, 17 other states were unsupportive of sexual rights in general, while five states were in between being supportive and unsupportive of sexual rights. However, no state had exclusively unsupportive laws.
