The coming of the baby boomers: Implications for the pharmaceutical industry

Article Abstract:

A significant factor influencing drug policy and the strategy of pharmaceutical companies is and would be not only the tremendous growth in the number of older people, but the new elderly who live longer and more productive lives. The products discovered and marketed by the industry are a major contributor to people living longer and more productively.

Ways to device designs that prove to be safer and user-friendlier for people with vision, hearing, and mobility impairments have been discussed. An architecture firm considering examined users' experiences designs and constructs models and buildings according to the principles of universal design.
