The learning evaluation: A theoretical and empirical exploration
Article Abstract:
The concept of learning evaluation and its positioning amid scholarly work on evaluations is explored both theoretically and empirically. The quest gives insights into the adaptive and learning capability of an evaluation, the unique feature that it is conducted during the execution of a program, its problems and possibilities and may help further development and practice of evaluations under favorable conditions.

Alternative methods for handling attrition: An illustration using data from the fast track evaluation
Article Abstract:
The three of the newer methods used from the evaluation of the fast track track (FT) intervention is discussed. The study discusses the strengths and weaknesses of the alternative approaches and outlines ways in which researchers might improve their handling of attrition.
