The personal digital assistant (PDA) has the potential to greatly benefit older adults as a memory aid, organizer, and virtual assistant that can remind the individual about appointments and medications and track health-relevant information. This technology can serve as the platform for numerous services and software that enhance quality of life for adults and older adults.
