Will Mongolian doctors leave Poland?
Article Abstract:
The status of Mongolian medicine in Poland was raised in 1990 by several Buddhist monks specialized in traditional medicine who came to the country by invitation to work for six months. This event was followed by a number of Mongolian physicians who migrated to Poland to enjoy higher pay and a better life. A survey of these migrants revealed that almost all of them do not wish to live abroad forever. However, they are uncertain to emigrate. These attitudes can be attributed to the not-so-favorable socio-economic conditions of physicians in Mongolia.
