Fast forward to a cleaner, greener future
Article Abstract:
Makers of engines for ships have included environmental considerations in their manufacturing decisions. This is a result of the issuance of many emission regulations. At the same time, this development poses a challenge to manufacturers as they would have to develop more powerful engines that comply with emission regulations. Paxman Diesels's noteworthy effort in this direction is the modified version of its VP185 engine which has 18 cylinders.
