UK yard delivers largest Tricat

FBM Marine of the UK has delivered the 'Sea Speed 1,' an elongated version of the company's TriCat 45, to Agapitos Lines. The Greek operator intends to deploy the fast ferry, the biggest ever made by FBM, on a route between the eastern Cyclades islands and Piraeus once an operating license becomes available from the government. 'Sea Speed 1,' which has a superstructure made of a hybrid composite of fiber reinforced plastic and aluminum alloy, can accomodate as many as 450 passengers.
