Thin-film thermoelectric devices with high room-temperature figures of merit

Article Abstract:

Issues concerning the development of thermoelectric materials are discussed. Particular attention is given to to devices with figures of merit of high-temperature, namely thin-film materials capable to enhance merit figures at 300K.

An exhibition of frogs was placed by Tracy Hicks, an artist from Texas, at the University of Kansas. Creatures from the university's herpetology collection are presented, along with some from the Field Museum in Chicago.
