The value of 'Culture': An example from Mongolia

Article Abstract:

Cultural anthropology provides the best perspective for understanding people irrespective of their situation and explains that culture plays an important role in understanding all societies. The example of Mongolia illustrates the power of the anthropological concept of culture that reveals the views of the people on the thinking of people.

Article Abstract:

Kazakhstan is considered one of several countries that lie within the geographical region of Central Asia. The rock art of Kazakhstan that contains images of petroglyphs covering variety of situations ranging from large concentrations covering several hillsides to small, discrete pockets in exposed rock outcroppings are discussed.

"The culture of reading" in a public school: Ethnography, service-learning, and undergraduate researchers

The culture of reading is described by describing both individual and shared ideas about reading. The space, resources, and actual behavior that frame this culture of reading are studied and the ways in which gender operated as a variable is focused.
