Article Abstract:

Japanese designer Shiro Kuramata is one of the most prominent figures in the field of interior design. He has achieved recognition for his great artistry and creativity, as evidenced by his intricately and excellently crafted masterpieces. One can draw inspiration from the way Kuramata has given interior decoration a different perspective. Kuramata's exemplary works can be seen in many structures and is currently on display at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.

Article Abstract:

Berlin, Germany, is one place in the world that has architectural treasures that represent each decade of the 20th century. Among the many buildings that were rebuilt and resurrected after the fall of the Berlin Wall are the Reichstag parliamentary building, Jewish Museum and Galeries Lafayette. Modern classic buildings of the city were also restored. These include the Haus de Rundfunk, Deutscher Metallarbeiter and Humboldt Library.

Canyon house

Article Abstract:

The Los Angeles, CA-based interior design firm of BAU Design was commissioned to remake the home of a lawyer-couple in Cahuenga Pass, CA. The original redwood cabin was retaind but walls were broken down and skylights added to create an easy flow of space. To satisfy the owners' desire for added space, a new wing characterized by high, open spaces was attached to the original structure.
