Windows technology may standardize font rendering on microcomputers and also promises information linkage, also known as Dynamic Data Exchange. Low-end page layout products were less expensive in 1991. More power and flexibility could be purchased in 1991 for $200 than could be purchased for $395 in 1987. The dominant page description language for MS-DOS systems may eventually by TrueImage.
