Article Abstract:

Shelton, Mindel and Associates architects derived their design of the Patricof and Co office from Manhattan, New York, NY's cityscape. Both the office and the city had two distinct divisions with different characters and the designers capitalized on this in their arrangement of spaces. The office's venture and capital division had a more lively atmosphere, enhanced by the wavywall of green anigre. Meanwhile, the investment banking division was more formal so that design elements were more linear and traditional. The office's orthoogonal coffered ceiling beam grid served to unite the whole office design.

Colorado Cool: designers from Gensler's Denver office build a stylishly understated backdrop for dining in a downtown high-rise

Article Abstract:

Gensler and Associates Architects designed the interior of Zenith, a new restaurant in Colorado. The problems the company were faced with were that the reastaurant owner, Tony Cardone, was conservative in his opinion of design and two previous restaurants in the same location had failed. The basic color scheme is black and white to which silver is added. The bays are separated by columns and glass with random black line art.
