Privacy prevails

Article Abstract:

Wall panels are being redesigned to conform to acoustic and aesthetic requirements. Vorginia Metal Industries has come up with the Silhoeutte III, prefabricated wall panels that reduce sound penetration by using 22-gauge steel walls, provided with fire insulation and 3-pound density mineral wool. Heavy-duty vinyl is used to seal the exterior because this material screens out sound better than metal or plastic. On the other hand, Gold Bond has introduced its Quarry Collection, prefab gypsum walls which can pass for real stone.
