Cunningham + Cage

Article Abstract:

Choreographer and dance Merce Cunningham has created and performed several pieces based on the music of John Cage. Elena Kunikova and Les Ballets Trockadero

Article Abstract:

Dancer Elena Kunikova feels one key to any style of classical dance is coordinating all body parts to produce harmonious movement. Kunikova's work with Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo began in 1996 and has included dancing with an all-male ensemble and an emphasis on comedy that makes a satiric point rather than focusing simply on ridicule.
