Article Abstract:

Support for furthering the goals of US space programs can begin in the country's learning institutions. By developing the youth's interests in space research, space activists can hope to look forward to a wider base of support. However, in lieu of the present resource constraints of the US educational system, priivate citizens and organizations need to get involved.

Article Abstract:

Astronomers are amazed at the clarity of the pictures of galaxies taken by the Hubble Space Telescope, which were recently put on display. They believe that pictures will provide strong clues about the origin of galaxies and have a strong influence on the development of cosmological models.

Education in Niagara

Article Abstract:

The education efforts of the Niagara Peninsula Space Frontier Society are described. The evolution of the program began on October 4, 1957 when a radio broadcast of the beeps from an orbiting spacecraft were heard by a young boy who became hooked on the subject of space.
