Identification of the sex of a wide range of Carinatae birds by PCR using primer sets selected from chicken EE0.6 and its related sequences

Article Abstract:

Research describing the identification of the sex of birds belonging to the Carinatae group is presented. In particular polymerase chain reaction procedures are used to investigate W and Z chromosomes.

Triplet-repeat microsatellites shared among hard and soft pines

Article Abstract:

Research describing trans-specific microsatellites in hard and soft pines, Pinus spp., is presented. In particular microsatellite recovery is invesigated by reference to genome organization.
