A robot code of ethics

Article Abstract:

The South Korean government has set up a committee to draw up an ethical code to prevent humans from abusing robots and vice versa. A committee of EURON, the European Robotics Research Network, also wants to create a code that deals with problems of hostility to and from robots, and how to avoid accidents, trace robots, ensure secrecy of their data and monitor the nature of their intelligence.

Stopping hookworm

Article Abstract:

The article discusses the dangers of hookworm infections in plants as well as humans. A report is also presented about the vaccine which puts an end to the hookworm parasite and the destruction it causes.
