Intestinal infection of BALB/c mice with Yersinia eneterocolitica 09 causes major modifications in phenotype and functions of spleen cells

Article Abstract:

Research has been conducted on the Yersinia eneterocolitica serotype 09 which may cause intestinal infection in humans and mice. The alterations in the immune status of the BALB/c mice infected with Y. eneterocolitica 09 have been investigated and the results of the phenotypic analysis indicate the increase in the CD3 (super)+ total T cells.

The transcriptional activator NhaR is responsible for the osmotic induction of osmC (sub)p1, a promoter of the stress-inducible gene osmC in Escherichia coli

Article Abstract:

Research has been conducted on the transcription of the osmC gene from Escherichia coli directed by two overlapping promoters. The use of the genetic screen in identifying the new regulators of osmC is described.

Functional analysis of the ClpATPase ClpA of Brucella suis, and the persistence of a knockout mutant in BALB/c mice

Article Abstract:

Research has been conducted on protein ClpA that belongs to the ClpATPase polypeptide group. Results indicate that conserved protein ClpA from Brucella suis in dispensable for the intramacrophagic growth.
