Molecular characterization of the Serratia marcescens OmpF porin, and analysis of S. marcescens OmpF and OmpC osmoregulation

Article Abstract:

Research indicates that the nosocomial pathogenic organism Serratia marcescens outer-membrane porins are like those of Escherichia Coli OmpF and OmpC porins. S. marcescens is resistant to beta-lactam. Its OmpF porin may, like other porins found in S. marcescens, be expressed differently according to the cellular environment. The 41 kDa recombinant porin was identified in cloning experiments. Its messenger RNA is probably capable of hybridizing with the micF transcript gene.

Occurrence of two superoxide dismutasese in Aeromonas hydrophila: molecular cloning and differential expression of the sodA and sodB genes

Article Abstract:

Research has been conducted on the genes encoding superoxide dismutaseses from Aeromonas hydrophila. The identification and characterization of these genes have been carried out and their expression has been compared to that of the Escherichia coli superoxide dismutaseses.

An analysis of multifuctorial influences on the transcritional control of ompF and ompC porin expression under nutrient limitation

Article Abstract:

Research has been conducted on the porin regulation. The role of the OmpR phosphorylation in porin regulation has been tested, and the evidence of the AcP, cAMP and RpoS in porin gene expression importance has been provided.
